The Project Joint Action of Cooperation “The Troglodyte Heritage” proposes a rigorous approach to the scientific knowledge of the troglodytic phenomenon across the world, and also the acknowledgement of this
fact as something alive, dynamic, and above all as a factor of social, economical and cultural sustainable
development for the rural spaces of Europe.
The main target of the International Conference is to create a meeting space for specialists from different
areas of study, in order to bring the knowledge of troglodytism form different points of view up to date, and
also to offer researchers and professionals related with this issue the possibility of publishing their works.

LOCATION
Guadix – Purullena (Granada-Spain)
Participation
There are three modalities of participation: oral presentations, digital presentations and posters. The
presentations will be 15 minutes long with the use of audiovisual media. The posters will have a maximum
dimension of 100 x 74 centimetres. The participants will be provided with panels where they can exhibit their
works. The digital presentations will in pps format, and will be accessible from the different computer
terminals.
People interested in participating should send an abstract of the content of their work in ten lines, along with
the pre-inscription profile.
Complementary activities
During the Meeting the participants will have the opportunity to participate in several activities:
- Audio-visuals show.
- Visit to the Exhibition The Troglodyte Heritage in the World.
- Publication stand
- Children and caves. Exhibition of drawings developed for children and young people of the Region of
Guadix.
